Tblaneyt....where will your 8 acres be and what do you plan to do with them? Are you coming from far away?

PS...welcome to TBN and enjoy your new tractor!
Located in WI. Our kids still live in the area. So we are taking advantage of the ability to located anywhere and still work and be closer to the new grandkids. We are currently located in Seattle.

We bought a house with a pond and wooded 17 acres. The tractor was originally going to be used primarily for snow blowing the long drive way. We also have some hunting land in the UP that we want to put some food plots in. So original purpose was:
1. Snow Blowing - bought the snow blower attachment.
2. Grooming sand of the beach on the pond - looking for a tiller. Any suggestions on this? I am assuming I will need a 66 inch to cover the the tire tracks. Looking at a LP because of the fact. The RGA1266 or RGR1266. I don't think the tractor is rated to jump to the 72 inch and the 60 inch will not cover the tracks to look at other brands. Any suggestions?
3. Hunting Food Plots - Tiller above, and thinking a plow or box blade. We need to more information on ground we plan to plot. Most likely it's going to be old lumber roads in the land. Any suggestions for getting the land worked?

We also just found out we there are 8 acres next to the new house that are for sale. Not on the market but from the house owners parents. They are offering to sell it to us before putting it on the market. This is a field that has been actively worked. We will plant a 1-2 acre garden for us (garlic, potatoes, onions, etc) and the rest some like field corn, straw or hey. Not sure, I have never farmed an area this big, but I am excited to learn and listen to suggestions!

How did you end up with R4 tires on the rear and R14T’s on the front?
Or am I seeing it wrong?
I only have the picture of it right now, until I see it in person. It looks like you are correct though. I will need to ask the dealer if that is the case. It would seem strange to put on different tires on the front, unless they do it for better performance snow blowing.

Congratulations. You will really enjoy the cab. If you plan to use it in rough terrain, you may may want to consider adding underside protection for hydraulic lines. The hydraulic lines on the right side of the Grand Ls are vulnerable to stumps and sticks.

I think they are all R4's, with the shadows from the fel hydraulics making the front tread look like R14's.
I've had my L4060 cab tractor for 5 years now, and love it. Congrats on your new machine!
