L3901 thoughts

I've stated on many threads that I don't find the L3901 to be good value for money. I've spun my Rimguard loaded R4s way more often than I've even come close to running out of power. 4.4 PTO HP doesn't seem like it should cost 2K to me.

Wonder how Ag/R1 tires do? Do they put the extra HP into the dirt??

No idea. You would think they'd be able to in some situations, but I spend a lot of time on loose dirt/forest mulch and I can just see myself digging deeper holes more often then not. Add the lower ply rating of the Ag tires and even if they did put the HP down, I'd be wary of punctures.

I appreciate all the input & responses.
I was initially considering the B2601/L2501 tractors, but the dealer in my town had the L3901 orchard return there so that's why I was considering that one.
Currently expanding the search to other colors... I've got a couple other dealers about 40mi away from me, but LS & Branson are easily 2h away - trying to decide if servicing/warranty work being so far away is going to be too much of a PITA.

I can't speak for branson, but from what I've seen people say on this forum and others LS is a solid choice that will likely not need any warranty work.
