I haul a 3100lb tractor with a 750lb loader and a 500lb mower all the time. You should be fine. Just make sure you have load centered. A 3000lb tractor is only a bit more than two zero turn mowers and equipment. Every lawn service you see is pulling that around.

Many, many words summarized: never owned a Mahindra..

I quess you didn't follow the link I posted to the Mahindra website, where I got that loader information. Had you done so you would see that Mahindra quoted the 8%, then went on to compare breakout at the pins on their tractor vs 500mm in front of the pins for the Kubota.

My summary: the small Mahindra are rebadged so you might as well go to the source. Kubota makes just about everything on their tractors. That's probably at least one reason why the OP has already settled on Kubota and asked about towing them, not advice on what other brand might work.

I've sent an email to try to cut a deal with the kubota dealership on a 4800 HST. It's a 4800HST 4x4 with land pride 6' hog, 6' box blade, and 9" auger. 0% for 72 months. $31K. I'm trying to get him to throw in the change to R4s and heavy duty bucket. If so, I'll carry a wad of cash down there tomorrow and finance the balance for free. Wish me luck!

I have a 3301...

Tractor: 2,800
Loader + QA Bucket: 1,070
Fluid in Rears: 500
Total: 4,400 w/fluids
A 4701 would probably be closer to 5k...but as others have suggested you can take the bucket or whole loader off and save some weight. Should be towable with your truck. What year/engine is it? I've had my 3301, box blade, and a yard or so of clay on my trailer (5.2k axles) for a total of around 9k and it was ok behind my 2016 F150 with max tow (3.5 EcoBoost) using a WD hitch.

WB Tractor in Temple had a 4701 earlier this week. They quoted a similar package to me for $29,135 including delivery to Burnet. They were very nice and I would've gotten it from them, but my local dealer beat their price slightly. I'm expecting delivery of by 4701 later next week. Shoot me a message if you're interested and I will give you the contact information

I also have towing issues and had to make a decision between the 3901 too. I chose to get as much tractor as I could afford. I will figure out towing if I ever need to do that.

Good Luck!

0% for 72 is awesome and will be sweet

You know it all bro, idk why your so defensive, all I said was take a look at Mahindra because there a little more bang for your buck, which we both can agree they are, now this can be dropped and back to waiting in anticipation of a new tractor.

I don't care what this guy gets, what ever he buys I'm sure he will be happy with it and I will be happy for him.

Good call on the MX. Personally, though, I don't see the appeal of the package deals. First off, what are you gonna do with a 6' box blade behind an MX? I don't even think it'd cover the tracks. My main gripe is that the implements (often better quality ones) can usually be bought for much less money used. I suppose if you can get them rolled into the financing, it might make sense, but even then, forget the implements they want to sell you. Pick out high quality, heavy duty attachments and finance them.

I'm pretty sure you only get the cash discount if you pay the whole thing in cash. Much less benefit for paying part of it in cash & getting the 0% financing on the rest.
