I'm waiting on delivery of a L3800 w/ BH77 BH and am trying to plan where to store it between uses. If it will fit I'd like to put in in a garage bay, but if thats not possible then I'll have to build a medium sized storage building. My question is what is the size of it's parked footprint, i.e. dimensions parked w/ BH bucket down on floor. Plus I need to know the height requirements for driving it into the bay w/ the BH partially raised. I believe the dimensions for the L3200 & L3800 are exactly the same (just a slightly bigger engine displacement for the L3800). They are relatively new models but are there any owners out there that can help w/ the size issue? Thanks, can't wait for delivery.

Call your dealer! He should know and if not! You paid him enough to go out and measure it for you! :)
Congratulations on the new tractor:thumbsup:

I have a friend thats puts his L3700su with BH 77 in a one bay of a little two car unit, it fits withthe BH turned side ways after getting in inorder for the fel to fit, he backs it in. I will post a photo as soon as I can find it, I have over 100,000 photos on this computer, and the one I want, is the one that is hiding

I found the photo. Also note it fits with lots of other stuff, that is a full size van in the other bay. Hope this helps.

Thanks, looks like the short time solution to keep it in an available garage bay will work.

I need 19' to just barely fit the L3800 + BH + loader arms, with quick-attach bucket removed. So, lots of depth is a good thing!

The ROPS-down position limits the height. I just fit into a 6' log-barn doorway with the ROPS down. The BH can be manoeuvred in that space.

Width depends on your FEL bucket - normally 66", I think. You want at least 6" on either side beyond that.

If I understand you right it sounds like I'll need about 21' in length if I want to keep the bucket on, I do have the 66" quick release. Height should be Ok even w/ the ROPS up. I'm at work now so I'll have to measure things up when I get home. Thanks for the info.

If you do not have enough length or want to save some room, turn the BH sideways. Just remember before you drive out to adjust it back to normal position!
