I have a 1988 L3750 2 wheel drive tractor. I need a hydraulic filter for the tractor. The manual, website and dealer all say that the tractor uses a HH330-82630 Hydraulic filter. This filter will not fit. The filter on the tractor is the original Kubota filter. It is completely different than the one that is 'supposed' to fit. Has anyone else had this problem? I need some help. Thanks

I show that a 36330-82630 is the Hydraulic Suction Filter for an L3750.

You sir are correct but that filter will not fit my tractor. That is the filter that all references you find say will fit it but the one that came off is different. Smaller diameter and the hole in the center that screws on the nipple on the side of the case is much bigger.

Kubota dealer says that the 36330-82630 and HH330-86230 are the same just an updated sku.

Did you buy it used?
Is it the engine or hydraulic?
Usually you can get the measurements and contact WIX filters to find one that fits. I am sure other filter manufactures can and will do the same. (Parker, Eaton, ect.)

Yes it was purchased used. Certain that it is the Hydraulic filter. Took it to a large Wix dealer and he could not match it.

Dang, sorry. Did not see your post #3.

Measure the nipple thread size than and measure the OD of the gasket and go from there.

How many filter does your tractor have? Some require 2. Some filters are on the pressure side so you do not want to use the wrong filter. It will rupture if not the proper filter.

I come up with the old number also and sells for just over $28.00. show a picture of yours because the old # doesn't look like the new filters.

They may be the same, or it may be an error (I show the HH330-86230 to be for a different tractor - mainly M Series). I will look into it a little bit more and get back to you. Maybe my parts guy knows something.

These are different filters. The "HH" filter is larger with a larger diameter thread on it. There must be an issue with the suppression in Kubota parts program. Have the dealer order the exact 36330-82630. IMG_1223 (2).jpgIMG_1224 (1).jpgIMG_1225 (2).jpg

Using Messick's it is fairly easy to check part numbers. Please keep in mind I'm not certain if this is a L3750, L3750DT or L3750F. Using the "frequently used parts" L3750DT the following appear. It indicates 36330-82630 is the correct part number.

Thanks Moship and Texas Fella and all of you guys that helped. My manual and the Kubota website all said the filter was 36330-82630. 2 different dealers said that the SKU was changed to HH330-82630 which is of course the wrong filter. I went to dealer number 3 and got the 36330-82630 in today and it works great. Imagine that. Striking it up to uneducated parts guys and me not knowing any better. Thanks for all you help! you guys are great!

Glad to see that got worked out. Shoulda been simple, but... a fairly logical confusion with those similar numbers, though.
