I put two rear remotes on my L3710 HST. It lifts things like logs just like it always did, but it will not raise the tractor's front wheels when I push it down.

What is the most likely problem?

Hard to say. What did you add and how/where did you add it? Something obviously changed if it raised the front end before the addition. More details or a lot of wild guesses come next.

I don't have a habit of lifting the front end with the bucket, having little reason to do so, so I am not positive, but I believe it was possible to lift it before I installed the new valves.

I'm going to make sure the fluid is topped off, and I will also go through the air-bleeding procedure I saw somewhere.

In most cases bleeding won't be necessary. What exactly are we doing here? Are you looking for answers concerning a problem you're "not positive" you even have? I don't know about others, but when I have questions about hydraulics, lifting or not lifting as expected I start with a pressure gauge plugged into a coupler somewhere, and see what that tells me.

If youre incidentally holding the brake when trying to lift .. dont.

When you try to lift the front, are you putting the loader all the way down, and then curling the bucket like you want to dump a load?

The hydraulic system should self-bleed.

I did not try to curl the bucket.

I will get back on this tomorrow. I am hoping my bearings and seal will be here by then.

I don't hold the brake. I can't recall ever using the brake. On this farm, I never need it.

That's horrible. I can't believe that's an honest estimate, but then I don't repair tractors.

My loader only has problems on the way down, and it didn't start until I installed the rear remotes, so I think my pump is fine.

My hyd oil has always ran VERY hot. I'm still waiting on a decision from K-Tek insurance. praying they will cover it. If not I'm stuck with a non functioning unit???
