Located an older model kubota L3650, FEL, shuttle shift, 17 actual hours, $15,000
Any ideas if this is a good price?

I think that tractor could be 20 years old. HOw does it only have 17 hours?

My understanding is was purchased New, rarely used, and was in a barn for years. A landscape contractor I know bought it last year with 12 hours on it, used it little and just sold his farm. He has to liquidate everything in a month before closing. I think it's a 1999 and looks brand new.
Concerns are it has sat unused for many years.
Any concerns? Gaskets, etc.

A 40hp for 15K sounds lime a good buy but no more feedback on the forum.
Update, owner died after purchasing g New in 1998 and putting 3 hrs on tractor. Stored in barn u til purchased in 2012 through a kubota dealer. Tractor was still in barn, fired on second try. Maintenance was performed and pro rebuilt by kubota dealer. Now has 17 Hrs.like New conditions

My quick Web research shows they stopped the 3650 in 93. I think 15k is high for machine that old 17 hours aside.

Sounds a bit high to me too. But not that bad if it is in pristine condition. Sitting that long would concern me a bit, seals, gaskets. I bought a tractor a few years ago that was of the same vintage that had few hours on it and I was worried at the time, but it turned out not to be a problem at all. If they stopped making that model in 93, I wonder the status from 93 to 98 when it was bought. Kubota can look the date of the sale up.
