I think on that model series there were three clutch setups. A single dry clutch was standard, or options were the dual dry clutch or a hydraulic wet clutch (Ever Clutch). The L3650 was the "later" model and by that time the single clutch wasn't offered. Maybe if somebody knows otherwise they'll chime in. As always, cheerful refund if info given by me is bogus :)

Yes - quite a difference - are there a EC labels on the sides? It might be time to post the serial number so someone can tell you what the build sheet says. Have you owned it since new?

The ever clutch is really two independant clutch packs - if drag develops it usually affects forward and reverse differently. Most common failure is warped slip rings from excessive slipping. More background reading here.

I haven’t owned it since new. It does have the decals on the fender for the ever clutch. Thanks for the link.
