Kubota L3560HST-LE
My local dealer has a screaming deal on an L3560 but it has the 555 loader. It would be almost $15k more to have him order one with the 805 loader. Will I regret it? I'm on 6 treed acres and have to take out some trees to make way for a pole barn, but after that it will be mostly brush cleanup, a bit of dirt leveling, and moving pallets around. I know that bigger is better but due to an ordering fiasco he has this unit at a bargain price. The trees I'm taking out aren't worth milling so I can cut the logs into sizes that the 555 loader can handle.

This is my first tractor so I'm not sure if I'll regret not spending $15k more for the heavier loader.

thats roughly 250kg more capacity which converts to 550 lbs. thats a lot more capacity, like almost 50% more, but If you can make do without, 15,000$ is a lot of money and can buy some nice attachments i've maxed out my la854 on my L4740 but that was with pallets of stone. most logs don't max out the lift capacity.

I have the 805 on my tractor, and it is nice to have. But $15,000-I wouldn’t pay that! If I can remember correctly it cost me 1200-1300 to upgrade the loader in 2018.

A chainsaw will make that weight not really matter. If it's THAT much better of a deal, it may be worth it. But keep in mind that it could potentially hurt your future resale because anyone wanting a Grand L, will want the heavier lift capacity of the 805 and will only want o pay standard L value probably. I have a 2502 with even a lighter loader and I log mostly on my 20 acres. I am perfectly happy with my 526 loader. But, I would want to be buying this Grand L you are talking about for a KILLER deal. The HST + transmission is what really sweetens the deal for a Grand L.

I have to remind myself that I went to the dealer expecting to buy an L2502 knowing that it would suit my needs but right next to it was this L3560HST-LE for almost $1000 less. I've decided that the 555 loader is plenty and I'm getting a heavier, higher horsepower tractor with some nice upgrades and to not fret about not getting the higher capacity loader. I went ahead and bought it.

I'm in the process of getting quotes on a 3560 and they list the LA805 loader @ $5,525 and the L2296 HD bucket @ $1,247 you could buy that and still come out way ahead.
