L3430HSTC AC recharge

I have a 2006 L3430 HSTC that the AC works but isn't as cold as it once was. Are the fittings the same as on a 2006 vehicle and is the same refrigerant?

It should be R134a.

Is the condenser clean and the belt tight?

Fittings and refrigerant are the same... But like 94BULLITT said, check the condenser & radiator... just a small restriction to the airflow through the radiator will keep the AC system from working at peak efficiency. KennyV

We had to clean junk out of the unit in the roof and recharge the system on our L5030 and as others have said keep the radiator condenser clean with belts in spec. There is a sight galss in the front you should be able to check for bubbles. I believe there is an old thread by 5030 on the AC improvements he made.
