Oil & Fuel L3430 oil filter crossover

Does anyone know what oil filter fits the L3430? I'm too far from the dealer and want to change the oil this weekend. Fram, wix, NAPA?

Baldwin listed the filter as B7240 Napa cross that to a L1311 - the specs are slightly different between baldwin and napa - make sure you take your old one with you to match up. The threads show as 3/4" - 16 which is quite common. If you look closely there should be a bypass valve - it is listed with a common setting. If the 3430 is on warranty you should use the OEM's as they will war with you if there is a warranty claim with the filter on.

Actually, according to the Magnuson-Moss Act a dealer can't deny a warranty claim just because you used after market parts.

You can go to the Wix Filter Lookup to find filters for all applications and cross reference #'s from other manufacturers to Wix numbers. Very handy.
