L3410 Tire Question

Hey,

Anyone know the make and model of the turf tires that Kubota uses for the L3410? Anyone know where the cheapest place to get them would be?

I don't know if this applies to your situation or not, but on every other Kubota that I know of when you switch from one type tire to another type tire you have to purchase the wheel and tire. At least when you go from turf to Ag tires or vice-versa; I'd say that your R-4s are probably in the same boat, I just don't know for sure.

My L3410 came with Goodyear Softrac Terra-tire.
41x14.00-20 NHS rear
27x8.50-15 NHS front
I believe Kelvin is absolutely correct about having to purchase different wheels. You will also lose on the overall diameter of the tire vs R1 or R4 tires. There seems to be a limit on the size of turf tires. Even the Kubota literature for the M9000 has a picture of a M9000 with turfs. The tractor looks quite odd. The difference on the L3410 is not that great though.
Considering that you will also need wheels, your Kubota dealer may be a good place to start with, at least to get some info.
