Tractor
Kubotas: L3240GST B2320HST B5100D & G5200H
Dealer came & took my L3240 away to install a BH92 hoe.
But now there is a question about which mounting kit to order.
Apparently the one they got (BH4997) "doesn't fit up right".
So it sits at the dealer and here sit I, without my #1 go-to tractor.
All the while chores are not getting done.
And I miss it.

Anyone have a BH92 on their L3240?
If so, which mounting kit did they install?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Will a BH92 fit your L3240?
On TractorHouse, the only L3240 had a BH75 on it.
If you build a 33 hp L on Kubota's site, it will show a 7.7 BH. A BH77.

Unfortunately I don't have the part numbers you're looking for but I can assure you that it does fit on a L3240
If you had a cab you would need two mounts the one on the tractor is the one you need. The one I have on the backhoe is for a cab, sets it back a little further to clear the cab.
When you do get it back at least you won't have to live with the cab adaptor. Not thats it's a big deal just doesn't look as neat and tidy. The dealer can't figure out the right part numbers? Have him check with Ahearn in Spencer Mass for the right number.

It will definitely fit, kcender (tbn member) had one locally but has since sold it. I doubt he'd know which adapter was used, but you could try a pm.

Great - thanks, Chilly.
I think kcender traded his L3240, but I'll give him a try hoping he may still have the papers for it.

Sorry,Baby Grand, but I don't think I will be much help to you.My L3240 was an '09 with a BH90 backhoe. It is the older model of backhoe with a straight boom. The BH92 backhoe was available for the tractor but it was more money.Good luck with the backhoe.

The dealer that pickup your tractor should be able to find the right mount for you in about 15 minutes.
I would call him tomorrow and tell him to bring it back to you.

My wife always says sure you would, when she gets something from the grocery store that is wrong.

I always say I would bring it right back to them. "sure you would"

Thanks, kcender. I'll get it sorted out - if not as quickly as I want.

Heh-heh .. thanks, Waxman!
The dealer is great, but a little old-school - he'd rather grab a parts book than go on-line.
For the good service he offers, I can live with that.
I think part of my problem is that my L3240 is a very early model, so there's some confusion about if it's an L3240 or an L3240-1.
When did they start that dash business, anyway?
Upon observing that dinner was not to my liking, my wife recently informed me "That's what we have to eat, so eat it!".
I hope it doesn't come down to that.
The dealer will be getting another call, today.

R&S delivered, literally!
Here's driver Greg bringing it home:

Hat's off to John Rebillard, at R&S, who waded thru conflicting documentation and got it sorted out.
He also answered every one of my phone calls. I would have put me on hold.
R&S gets added gratitude for scheduling delivery quickly and having the driver arrive early.
Had a chance to play ... umm ... work with it before a mid-morning medical appointment.

Works great - very smooth.

Ok now that all is well.

What were the chores that were not getting done.
You don't have to answer it's really none of my business but since you said that I thought, Gee I wish I had some chores to do.

Last thing I did last week was get the backhoe out by the pool fence gate, the ground was up since winter and would not let the gate open fully.
So I used the backhoe and the weight of the tractor to push the ground/grass back down. Now the gate opens fully again. Put the tractor back in the garage.

The gate story is funny - I guess once you get a new tool you just keep finding unintended uses for it!
The chores that aren't getting done don't require the backhoe. I need to brush hog - badly.
Also have some saw logs that need to be moved to where I cut & split and some pallets of split wood that need to be moved. Then there's the brush that needs to be chipped - all chores that I need the L3240 to do.

Now that I have the hoe, there's lots of stumps that need extraction, a couple very small ponds (pools, more like) that need digging and some drainage work that needs doing. And for unintended uses, I'm going to use the 'hoe to lift up a cultipacker I've been making to simplify painting it.

Oh, and now I have to figure out where the 'hoe will live when it's not on the tractor!

Hey baby grand can you heilp a fellow L3240 no dash no numbers out. My dealer went to the same school yours did and gave me the wrong kit. I was wondering if you could help a guy out with the part numbers of the mounting kit that works. The subframe they gave me bolted up ok but the hydraulic tubes are wrong. Any help would be most appreciated. Four weeks in and getting no where. Bh 92 patiently waiting.
