L3010 & B2910 Weight and Height ?

Hello,

I sincerely appreciate all those that have posted their informative and yes entertaining posts!

I have a question, can someone post the weight and height of the L3010 & B2910? The height with both standard and foldable ROPS would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to determine if it will fit in my garage while I build a shed. Also, I have an underpowered vehicle (170hp) and need to make sure I can tow the tractor, implements and trailor with what I have.

Steve. I'm pulling the L3010HST info out of the operators manual.
Weight with ROPS = 2745 lb
Height with ROPS = 83.9 in.

I don't know for sure but the height may change based on the tires. Also the weight will change based on whether you put ballast in the tires.

My L3010HST will not fit in my garage with the ROPS up. It misses it by 5/8 in due to the trim style on the garage.

Don't know about the B2910, but I have an L3010 brochure in front of me that says the overall height, with ROPS is 84.3 inches. Doesn't specify the folded-down height, but it looks to be about shoulder-height if you were in the seat.

The weight (with ROPS) is listed at:

F (2WD) - 2560 lbs.
DT (4WD) - 2710 lbs.
GST (4WD) - 2720 lbs.
HST (4WD) - 2745 lbs.

Steve, the B2910 weighs 1763 lbs without any implements. None of the literature (brochure or manual) lists the height but I measured mine with folding ROPS at 88". Non folding is quite a bit shorter. Anything else?

I had the same problem when I first got my 2500, but there is no folding ROPS option for that model. I posted my solution back in September. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I just went out to the garage and measured the ROPS height on my L3010 with Goodyear Turf Tires.

ROPS up = 81.75"
ROPS folded = 69.5"

I thought the B2910 was the same chassis as the B2710 which the Workshop Manual shows as 78.5" to the top of the ROPS. I think my canopy added about another inch, but it's no problem with my 7' garage door.

Bird, the height I quoted was with my folding ROPS. I'm sure yours is fixed considering you have a canopy.

If it misses by 5/8" there are a couple of tricks I've found to get it thru the door. At my old place the garage floor had a slight ramp going up into it (~4" rise). if I backed the tractor in the ROPS would clear the door jam but if I tried to drive straight in it lacked ~2" going thru.
At the new place the drive is level with the garage floor. It lacks ~1/2" going thru. I just raise the front wheels with the loader to tip it back a little and drive or back thru dragging on the bottom of the bucket with the front wheels raised.

Yep, LarryT, I knew the folding ROPS was taller than my fixed one; just didn't know how much taller.

My 2710 with a folding ROPS is less than 6ft tall with the ROPS folded. Its about 5in taller than my garage door opening with the ROPS up... found this out the hard way this weekend but fortunately didn't ding up the door trim too badly (dinged up my ego quite a bit though). /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif
