Do you guys think my L2800 will pull a set of 2 bottom 12" plows. I think I will have the power, I'm just worried about traction. I have loaded R4s and FE loader. I figure the tractor with loader weighs in at around 4000 lbs. My dads old Ford 600 pulled them fine a couple of years ago when we broke new ground for a garden. I'm wanting to expand my garden a little more, so this will be new ground as well. I'm not sure on the weight of the Ford 600, but I figure my 2800 with the loader on it would be close in weight, plus I have 4wd.

Don't kow about the power of your tractor to pull a 2 bottom plow, but my tractor works much better plowing when I remove the FEL. My tractor is 2wd, not 4wd, and that will make a difference, but the FEL takes weight off the back wheels and I loose pulling power traction for the plow. I'm not real experienced at plowing so take my comment accordingly . . .

You should be fine. My reason is my L5030 is 4000 LBS w/o loader and I use a 2-12 plow quite often. If the loader is off or on makes very little difference, since the tractor has enough weight to pull the plow. The best concern is how hard is the ground, you will find out I am sure.
