well i have searched tis sight and a few others but no luck on finding the year of the tractor.
does anyone have a link to where i can input the serial # to find out the year and the specs?
any help would be great

Try www.tractortips.com and click on specs, serialnumber, etc..
It will let you enter in the Manufacturer, then the model and then you can view the specs.
I use it all the time for info on tractors for sale.
