L2250 charge light on

new to me Kubota L2550, the charge light is on,,that way when I bought it,,i got a meter that supposed to check the battery and alt,,( they were sold out of multi meters), the battery is new and the meter sez its good,,no lights of any kind on the alt check,,I got a new alt off line =, the charge light is still on and the meter is still not reading anything,,could it possibly be the voltage reg
, any help appreciated

Is it a L2250 or a L2550.

I have this for a L2350 which may be applicable.
