Hello
I am grateful to all as I have been reading items at this site for a few months now and I have learned quite a bit
I am about ready to pull the trigger on an L3400 with Loader and backhoe
additions include 3 hooks on bucket thumb on the Bradco 8.5 hoe, filled tires and rear work lights and repair manual
I have two questions one out the door at 28500 good price?
and with choices between Kubota hoe 7.5, Woods hoe and Bradco which one is overall better? I like the W and B because they have the thumb option..What do you gurus think oh yeah it's hst

I think 28K for that machine w/ hoe is pretty much on the high side. Shop around. I know you can do better..

I'm getting to buy the same....L4400, filled tires, front remote, Kubota BH for 24.5K

L3400 seems high... The L4400 sounds like a really good price!!! I hope the L3400 is HST, R4's with QA bucket and the L4400 is gear, R1's and no QA... ah, no mention of FEL on the L4400... or did he forget to mention it???

Now, I wonder if gmeyer1198 ment to say L3400 instead of L4400 since "...I'm getting to buy the same..."

I shopped around a short time ago and looked at the L3400. Personally, for what the tractor is? I think it way overpriced. The dealer was charging me mid 19's with just the fel. In my mind the 3400 has no business being over 17 with fel. I really like Kubota and think it is one of the best tractors made but I will not be subject to corporate arrogance in its pricing policy because of the my above perception. I also think a much more useful combo is the backhoe where it is a self contained unit and trailered to the digging site with the tractor. It is just an unhitch away from being a tractor with fel only. Those types of backhoe can be had for $4500. I guess if you were using it constantly, an attached backhoe has its advantages but if only occasionally used, I prefer the alternative set up I just explained.

thank you for the responses so far
the L 3440 is 4x4 hst folding ROPS and hoe 8.5 Bradco with frame/additional frame mount separate seat
I will be using mechanical thumb (included in the price) often
and the bucket is quick attach and it will have industrial rubber mounted
bucket hooks
filled tires
repair manual
dual work lights on ROPS

The price seems a bit high to me maverick. Why don't you Email those specs to some dealers in your area and ask for a quote.

I love my L3400 with QA 463 Loader. I also agree with a lot of these opinions that total price out the door should be 25K or less! Shop around with some of the sponsors on this site and save yourself some money! You will love this machine!

and I tried the ole tech of the other guy said 26000
and two replied I do not how they can do it for that I cannot go below 28600 and said at 26000 it would be the deal of the century and one said he could do it for 27800 at best he is a small mom and pop place I am still looking
