L 2600 Remote Hydraulics

Has anybody added a remote to a Hydraulics L 2600? I am gather up parts to build a 4x8x2 dump trailer. Just wondering what is involed?

I'm not familiar with the hydraulic workings of a L2600 but I did add one set of remotes to the rear of my L3400 some time back. Of course I had to do mine the hard way but there are other simpler ways to do this. You didn't mention if your tractor has a loader on it or not. If so, the loader valve might have a power beyond port that would make adding a rear remote to your tractor much easier. No it does not have a loader.

Your hyd supply line goes from the pump to a fitting under the seat.

There may be an adapter that will let you insert a line for a remote valve.

If an adapter is not available, you could cut the line and add compression fittings and insert the remote valve.

That valve you insert must have a relief valve as it will now set the relief settings for the tractor.

There is another relief valve on the 3pt case assembly.

Maybe I should think this though before I post this but just thinking. I have a dead ZTR (Bad Motor). I saved it so I could build a side mount mower for the pond banks. ......... Any way would the Hydraulic pump off the mower lift the bed of the trailer running it off the PTO? I already have a 24 inch cylinder, an extra PTO shaft and a gear box so I could speed up the pump if I need to. I think a loaded trailer 4x8x2 would weigh in excess of #5000.

I am pretty sure the pump on a ZTR is a hydrostatic/VSP pump.

You don't normally see a VSP pump powering cyl.

A one or two spool valve with PB would be ideal.
