Hi,
I have a 2006 KX121-3 excavator with an non-functioning auto idle. When the auto idle switch is on, the engine should automatically idle down after 3 seconds of no activity. What happens now is that the engine is always at the idle speed you set the dial indicator at. I've replaced the in-cab idle switch component thinking that that would do the trick but the issue persists. I've searched the web and have drawn a blank on this issue. At this point, I'm looking for information that would give me details on the components that make up the auto idle function on this excavator. I'm hoping I can troubleshoot it from here if I knew what all the pieces were involved.
