Have a ZD326, 445 Hours. Noticed that the fuel gauge was not working. Temp gauge not working either. Pulled the Left Tank fuel sensor, no corrosion or obvious problems. Float seemed sound. Connection terminal and ground seemed OK. Any idea if these fuel sensors (K3181-62150) ever short out internally? Checked the fuse box and the center fuse slot in the photo, marked “Main System”, had a 15 amp blown fuse. But it blows a new fuse immediately when you try to install a new one. Any ideas about why or where this circuit seems corrupted or shorted out? Machine starts and runs just fine. But the temp and fuel gauges are just not working. Looking for some advice on just how to proceed to find this circuit fault. If it will accept a new fuse, I believe both guages should start working again. Thank you. Any insights or other things to check would be most appreciated. Photo below: Blown fuse removed from faulty circuit.

I'm not very good with wiring diagrams, but it appears that circuit powers the fuel gauge, temp gauge, indicator lamps, warning horn, and lift pump. Should be a solid yellow wire in the harness, and I suspect it could be shorting anywhere.
If you can trace that wire through the harness, hopefully you can find the problem.

Could you post the wiring diagram her to help the OP and the rest of use for use in the future.

Thank you. I traced every wire leading to and from the 2 harnesses that go to the right side guages/panel and didn't find a thing. But right at the point of giving up I decided to look back by the engine and battery area. I found that the fuel pump wire had gotten damaged and the pump feed wire was shorting out to the frame. Likely caused by mowing over brush or a branch or something. Surprising that the pump wires are not better protected. We live on a farm and when mowing anything is possible. Got a new pump on order. Thank you for your replies.

I saw the ZD326 service manual on a forum post but can't find it again. I believe you can find the manual here: Kubota WSM ZD326 Manuals Wiring diagrams I used started about page 230.
