is there anyone out there with a front mounted kubota snow blower? there is not a whole lot of information to be found. i would like to hear likes and dislikes. i am looking at the 60 inch model with electric chute rotation since i have a cab. any info would be great. i am looking at the front mount becuase my dad wants to use it too, and he has a bad back.

oh i have a front plow now, but am loooking for something that would be easier for my dad to use.

thanx guys.

I don't have the 60" model and I'm at work so I can't tell you what it is. If I had to guess I'd say 2760? Anyway. it's whatever fits the bx series (2200). All I can say is that it blows snow like nothing I have ever seen.

I've got one on the front of my B2710, but I can't tell you how it works yet! I just got it in a swap this summer. In fact I just put it on the tractor about an hour ago! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Now I'm just waiting for the snow to start. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I did convert my chute over to electric, cost all of $20 to do it. Sure will be better than looking over my back this winter!
So I'll have to let you know how it works once the snows come!

I myself prefer a rear mount, not just because they are less expensive, they are easier, much easier to remove.

Besides, if you have a cab like me, I just use the rear view mirrors to guide myself.

I have a new Lucknow 78 on order. Might need it soon!!

I have a 60" woods rear mount for sale in the TBYNet Classified section. It's too small for my 5030 but ideal for a smaller tractor.

As I have mentioned in other posts, I have a front snowblower on my bx2200 and it is really sweet. It will go thru anything from ice, wet snow, and loose rocks and sand.

The blower mounts via the quick mount system. Means that you can take it off or on without much trouble at all. Pull a pin and throw a lever and disconnect the short pto shaft and you are done. I go back and forth from the blade to the blower without any problems.

The electric chute rotation device is slow, so I am told. Also I would imagine it draws a fair amount of power. I am very satisfied with the manual system. Moves very fast and without much effort.

I have a 52'' front mount for my 3830. Cannot tell you how good or bad it is cause this is the first winter for it. Looking forward to useing it, I have the 71/2' Fisher plow on now and will use that until the driveway freezes down good. No need to be throwing small stones all over.

I'm starting my third winter with the front mount snowblower on my BX1800 and love it. Since it came with a 4 port valve, I added a small hydraulic motor found used on ebay to replace the manual rotator handle. The whole system really works well, is easy to hook up and will send the snow about 80 feet in any direction. Even wet heavy snow isn't really any challange

Kubota has a good group of blowers at this time. The front mount is my prefered as much as I hate to park a loader. I've found that by not creating the banks with a loader that the blower means no mid winter push back needing big equipment. I've also found as I've gotten older my head can't turn as well as it did when I was in my twenties.

Kubota blowers are good. I do prefer the front mount at this time as my flexibility is not what is was ten years ago. I've also found that I can get by without the loader and have less work with the blower as I don't need major equipment coming in to move the banks back in February.

I have the 60" front snowblower for my B7500, but haven't used it yet...I see that you are in Central MD...I am in Myersville if you want to check it out...let me know.
