Sorry, I don't. I sold that tractor last year and took pictures for Craigslist . . . can't find them on my computer, so must have deleted them.

It was a fairly straight forward install though, and it wasn't my idea, I got that from other posts on this forum, so there's got to be pictures and more info here somewhere.

They priced me out has B2781D + Driveshaft (mid and front) = $4400 eeek.... I swear the kubota guy told my dad he'd get him the blower and everything for $2500.

That sounds high to me, I know I didn't pay that much. Low threes if I recall correctly.

Yes it sounds really high..

I saw somewhere the b2781 was like $2700... so if they priced me at the driveshafts B2788 $425 Bx2735 $178 it would be like low 3k.

This was over the phone, i think if we go in person to the salesman who sold us our tractor, implements and poop spreader we'd have a better deal.

3pt blowers are also MUCH better built and MUCH more rugged - made mostly from 1/8"-1/4" plate. The 2750 is really flimsy - same stamped metal thickness and construction as a push blower (except you don't get an engine for only twice the money). A 3pt blower is a completely different animal. Of course, you DO have to look over your shoulder...

I can't tell you the difference either, but I can tell you I was quoted $3300 for the "updated" model by my closest dealer. That included the quick hitch, pto shaft, picking up my tractor, installing the blower, and bringing it back to my house.

Of course he wouldn't have any more until November, so I couldn't see one. He also couldn't really describe what the updates were. But he kindly was still willing to accept money today and put my name on one. I declined for now.

The Kubota electric chute rotator is just a power window motor, same as an early 90's Buick Century. The connector on the Kubota unit is really bad and not weather sealed...which is how I know the Buick motor fits. It only took opening about 30 boxes at the local Autozone to find the one that fit. ;-) the replacement motor has a weather sealed connector so I had to splice on the mate.

If you're handy with tools, welding, etc, it's easy to fabricate a bracket to mount a car power window motor for chute rotation (eBay, about $30). I used a short length of rubber hose with a couple of hose clamps as the "coupling" between motor gearbox and chute rotation worm screw. Chute deflection is by 12 volt 4" stroke linear actuator (eBay - around $80). I used a joystick switch mounted below the loader joystick, but a couple of toggle switches would work just as well. The 2750 is a great snowblower on the BX.

I had a 2750 on a previous BX2230. While not as heavy duty as my current B2782, the smaller blower still worked well, was up to the task, and I never had a problem with it's "lighter weight". In any case, I would not characterize it as "flimsy".

Besides not having to look over ones shoulder, a front mount can be maneuvered with precision and finesse that would all but impossible with a 3-point - even if you have a neck that swivels like an owl. Front mounts cost more, and are worth it. Once you have one you'll not want to go back. Cab, heater, front mount blower, cup of hot coffee to sip . . . snow? Bring it on!!

I got mine with the hydraulic chute rotation also, then added chute deflection myself:



Note that a 2" cylinder is hardly necessary, but it's what I could find with a 4" stroke, which is about right and that dictates lever arm length. I added a 1/32" restrictor to slow the cylinder down to a managable speed and run it from with the 3rd function valve on the tractor. If you order hydraulic chute deflection from Kubota, I think they use an electric diverter valve from the hydraulic lines that run chute rotation.

Lining the chute with UHMW polyethylene helps prevent even slushy snow from sticking and has the added benefit of more throw distance:
