Tractor
Kubota GST Grand L3130 w/ 723 loader, Ags
Not to start a war on brands and such but I feel the need to mention this..... As you cruise through the other brands of tractors a lot of folks are posting about a lot more problems than Kubota owners are posting on the Kubota boards. I am a Kubota owner and glad I bought one. It seems there are more questions about adding things on to our Tractor than there is to fixing them constantly. I hope this doesn't Jinx me but I think you get what you pay for. Merry Christmas to all!!!

I have a 2005 BX1500 with 350 hours that has been pretty much problem free except for the battery that I replaced this year.
I have a 2008 L4400 with around 450 hours that I have had no Kubota issues.

I've got a Mahindra Dealer in my town. My neighbor bought a new compact tractor there and the transmision blew up. I'm still glad I got Kubotas.
Merry Christmas

2002 Kubota L3710 purchased when new. So far, just a frozen loader valve and the front axle seals have leaked since new, fixed 3 times and still leak. My best buy of all time.

Owned Kubota's for the last 30years, seven total and still have six, never a major repair, battery's seem to last 8 to 10 years and front axle seals, I think I'm to blame for a few seals using pressure washer.

My 5 year old L2800 HST w/FEL done everything and more w/no problems. :)

I would say from the hours they are not getting many hours and, if they are, the work isn't serious.

I would say GO DEERE GO! Just sayin...:)

12 year old B21 - 1 battery, 1 FEL cylinder rebuild (warranty) and the horn button has never worked!

I like them all and would be comfortable with the quality of any of the top brands.

Wow!! Sounds like a strange way to celebrate the Christmas Holliday, bad mouthing other folks equipment quality.
I personally own Kubotas (2), but I don't agree with the thought that all other brands are poor quality. I believe that John Deere, Massey, New Holland and Kubota are premium brands and are very quality built machines.

Now LS, Mahindra, Kioti, Belarus, Long, Bison-I lump them together as possible poor quality.

Merry Christmas!:)

I would add that Allis Chalmers, Oliver, and Minneapolis Moline were cool too. Lanz was a col brand too - now these were serious workhorses in their day and were not "home use" tractors people pass off as workers!

I remember those old tractors, some pretty neat machines.

From what I have read on this forum I believe the first three you mentionned are up and coming, Kioti is nearly a premium brand nowadays, all they lack is a better dealership network and more brand recognition.

Everybody has a story about how the **** on my ***** broke with only *** hours. Well, I drove by a bunch of tractor dealers and I noticed that they all have a large service department and they are all FULL! (including my Kubota dealer).

Me too - 9 since 1982, 4 presently. I bought the first when K was offering low prices to penetrate the US market. The design and build quality was high then and has continued. (Ever notice the gear housings are painted on the inside too?)
