I have 205 hours on my l3901 and 3 regen cycles work it harder than you are and it will stay clean longer
I wish people would stop saying that cause I think its BS.The issue with that is, once you do that, it's yours forever.
Ignore it Scootr. It was a reasonable and intelligent question. Some people are just that way.I really don't understand your attitude. It's a question.
Obviously you have nothing to add. Ignored.
It is true if you ever want to trade to a dealership.I wish people would stop saying that cause I think its BS.
If so many people brag about not having the regen system. why wouldn't somebody touch a tractor with the stuff removed? I bet there's a lot of good ole boys around here that would buy it and not think twice about it, same thing with the good ole boy shops around here working on it.
I have 65 hours on my newer MX and have yet to experience a regen. My dealer tells me that I must be running the RPMs right. My first and only regen on my L3901 was at about 20 hrs. I had been running it like I had my old tractor (just added RPMS for the job at hand). I talked the regen over with my salesman and he said I should change my habits as far as the RPMS I was running. Since then after warmup I run the engine to at least 2k RPM or higher. I now have just over 51hrs, without a regen since the one @ 20hrs.

On a Branson, there is a muffler you can put right in its place. If you want to sell the tractor, just bolt up the DPFIt is true if you ever want to trade to a dealership.
Personally I prefer the DPF because I like not sucking smoke and getting sinus headaches. On a Branson, there is a muffler you can put right in its place. If you want to sell the tractor, just bolt up the DPF
