Did Deere recently add the power reverser to the E tractors?

My vote is orange paint.

Is the Deere 12/12 transmission 3 gears in 4 ranges?

It really depends on your uses mainly. Bang for your buck kinda implies "getting jobs A B and C done" when it comes to a tractor. Each of those tractors are similar but the variances in specs would make each one better than the other dependent upon the tasks.

They both manufacture a good tractor. John Deere's are just a bit better. That is my totally unbiased opinion. :)

Hands down John Deere, simply because of the power reverser tranny if that is really what it is.

I would never choose a shuttle shift over hydraulic shuttle.

Forget the Kubota!

Get the one with the cab, it will keep all those electronics dry.:)

I would rather have the 12x12 tranny. the JD does have draft sensing.

Kubota hyd shuttle is controlled by a cable not electronically similar to JD. The JD 12X12 trans control unit isn't cheap SJ290320 Electronic Control Unit - ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT, EHC, 5000, ADD 592.64 USD

I like my M7040 hyd shuttle. According to Tractordata the M6060 weighs about the same and has a longer wheelbase than the 5065E

5065E 4634 to 5500 pounds 80.7 inches
M6060 5005 to 5358 pounds 83.1 inches

With all things being equal and money is no object, John Deere would be the way to go. Years ahead of Kubota in many ways--especially hydraulics.

What jobs will you be doing with these possible choices?

Tried to reply not sure it worked so try again .I have a 2014 jd 5065e open station with 12x12 power reverser tranny no complaints. Mine has the 553 loader which I believe has been replaced by a h260 if im not mistaken .not sure if your looking at 2015 model but its either the price diff in loaders or the new tier engine in the 2015 models but that price seems high to me I payed 32500 for mine with loaded rears brush gaurd power reverser and loader.can't speek for the kubota but love my deere so far.might try to find a 2014 model if you like the deere.
