After weeks of looking at all colors of tractors, made my mind up on a new m7060 with fel, creeper gear kit, and an extra remote. Should be ready next week I hope.

i got the 7040 insted of the 7060.and im glad that i did because the 7060 listed for $8000 more than the 7040.ike you i put an extra set of remotes on the tractor.my tractor already had 1 st on it.but the salesmen forgot and put the 2nd set on for free.enjoy your new tractor.

The 7040 might be the better tractor, pre emission if nothing else.

the 7040 is a tier 3 engine.my tractor listed for $41000.and i got it for $34000.the list for the new 7060 was $48,000.

There gas been a lot of hand wringing over tier 4, but I have not seen too many reported real issues.

That's a good point, off the top of my head I can't remember reading about any problems due to tier 4. I'm sure there have been a few issues but not the widespread failures some expected.

That's a really good price, I'm from Canada, the salesman started at $60000, I paid $55400. I never heard of any problems with the tier 4, but would rather have a tier 3. I'm a diesel mechanic my self, egr has been around since 2004, and dpfs since 2007, not as bad as many people think, but you never know. I priced a new Holland t4.75 tier 3, they wanted $57500 just because they are in high demand. I didn't think it was right to pay that much.

My new M7060 is in at the dealers getting PDI'd right now, apparently the creeper gear system is back-ordered until Aug. but the dealer will have it installed when it comes in. Hopefully it should be ready in a week Once the dealer finishes pimping My ride, with air seat, aux. lighting 2nd remote then to the welders for some more pimping,, I'll get some pics when done have a novel idea for this one just hoping it works out ok. Will be used primarily for mowing. My Summertime tractor. My M108 is the winter ride for ploughing snow
