Kubota M7040 hydraulic squeal

Hey Guys I have noticed a short noise/squeal from the hydraulic system when I start up my Kubota M7040, all hydraulics work as they should. The sound doesn稚 seem to cause an issue, just wondering if someone can let me know what it is. I have a short video of the sound if that would help I can send it or attempt to post it here. Noticed a squeel noise starting my L3940 the other day. Turned it off and restarted with no noise. Did not notice the noise starting it today.

My M7040 does it too, and it's worse if you hydraulic fluid level is lower than it should be. Check you fluid level. Low hydraulic fluid accentuates the problem I found.

Thanks for the replies! The fluid is just at the full mark, may even be just a hair over full.

Try dropping the three point hitch a little;if it goes away it's out of adjustment.Squeal is from the relief.

Thanks nybirdman, I tried that and with no pressure from the loader. I was thinking like you said that maybe the feedback rod was out of adjustment but it does it with the 3pt lowered also

Sure it’s not a loose belt ?

Yeah definitely not a belt issue, doesn稚 really sound like a belt either, sounds like it痴 coming from under the seat/ pump area to me

Happened to my kabota it was a loose /bad water pump!

Check the hand knob control valve under the seat that controls speed of the 3. hitch
