Kubota M6800 shuttle shift issue

Help? I was pulling a full tank sprayer thru a creek crossing. back tires need replacing meaning I could not get up the other side. After several tries and rolling back in N, my shuttle shift won't go into R. In fact it would not fully go to N and engage the starter cutoff. Had to pull the plate and access the plunger cutoff manually to start.
Any thoughts on what my issue might be?

Hmmm.. not sure I know the difference. I think Sync? THe F-N_R shifter is on the dash next to the steering column. Connects to a linkage under the column then on to the trans. Cutoff is right there under steering column.

Hydraulic Shuttle should have decal on the hood, both have the similar FNR lever, sync shuttle requires clutch to shift F-R, hydraulic shuttle is clutchless.

Hydraulic shuttle is also much better. No dry clutch in the bellhousing to wear out. Clutch pedal is strictly optional on both mine.

Mine are via cable, not linkage. Makes sure your linkage is free or the cable lubed.

Yup.
Check your linkage carefully. If it's similar to my M4700 it could be jammed with a twig.
I wrote about a similar problem about a year ago.
