Kubota Loader Detent Kit - Help!

The sleeve in my loader doesnt have a groove for the detents. Instead is has a lip inside (can be seen on my drawings a couple posts up). The detents push into the sleeve when they hid that lip then spring back outwards when they are below the lip. In theory, they should then hold the spool down in the float position, which doesnt happen. Ill try unscrewing the sleeve a couple turns in case the sleeve isnt pushing down far enough. The only other thing I can think of is that the new large "return" spring might be too stiff and is overcoming the resistance of the detents against the lip.

Sounds like a good way to see if that is it, but make sure the spool is moving the same length in and out. Other then that, that is all I can think of right now without me putting hands on. You are so close just keep working at it, I think you well get it!!
