Kubota LA211 - hydraulic oil leak from Loader control block

Have a 02 BX 2200. Bought used last fall. Has LA211 loader. Noticed small puddle of hydraulic oil. Appears the be coming from the loader control block on the side of the control valve.

Before I order a bunch of replacement parts, since nothing appears cracked or broken, can I pull the fittings, and apply some kind of 菟lumbers putty or thread tape? Seems to be coming from thread area. Appears some kind of thread putty on there already?

I use Teflon tape.

It's likely that they worked themselves loose.

Teflon tape and hydraulic valves are not a good combination. I use locktite 545 thread sealant. It will seal pipe threads and keep them from coming loose.

I grew up folks telling me to use Teflon tape on hydraulics.

Personally, I never had an issue using it, and it's on my LA211.

After reading some info about Teflon tape and hydraulics, nope... no way will I ever use it again!

I dropped some Locktite 545 in my Amazon basket for my next order...

You did try tightening them all up correct? I have found a few loose on mine. Just to confirm this is the reason for the leak.

They likely just need to be tightened a bit. Mine leaked and a small twist fixed it with no added drama. Common problem.
