Kubota LA1251 Loader Control valve

Have a LA1251 Kubota loader on a M9000 tractor. Loader bucket roll down is acting up. If I barely push the lever to roll the bucket down it works fine but if I push it all the way as I normally would to do the same it goes very slow and acts like is working against itself. Thinking maybe control valve leaking internally but not that knowledgeable about hydraulics. Reversed the hoses and when I push the level to roll down or roll up the bucket just rolls down. Can anyone confirm my suspicions or any other possibilities?
