Loader Kubota LA 900 Loader cyllinder

I think I have it solved.
The Kubota cylinders are 60MM. 2 3/8"" ROUGHLY. they use a 30mm pin, and have a 20.1'' stroke. collapsed are 30''
I found a pair of 2 1/4' cylinders. they have about 10% less surface area than the 60mm. with the needed length 30'' and 19 1/2 stroke (1/2"" short using a 1 1/4'' pin.
I can bush to 1 1/4'' down to 30mm and use the kubota loader pins.

Its an occasional use loader with a clam shell bucket

Is there a shortcoming to this plan?
The pair of replacement cylinders will be under $400.

That sounds like the best solution to me-it should work very well.

Bill Keller of Bailey Hydraulic Cylinders Manufacturer steered me to their surplus cylinder line.
$240.oo delivered for the cylinders (a pair) and bushings.
They were also willing to fabricate an exact match.

Have you checked your loader spec against your machine type? An LA 900 would lift over 2000 lbs. This is probably well over the safe handling capacity of your machine, even with over ballasting it.

LA 900 loaders came on L3750mf (my tractor) according to Kubotas' website.
I will change to r 4 tires and rims in front.

The 3750 and 4150 are cousins and share engines, transmissions, differentials and major housings according to the Kubota wsm and parts manuals.
