Kubota L5030HSTC A/C Not Cooling Properly

Does anyone have any tips on how to increase the A/C cooling? I have cleaned all of the cooling fins and screens. Do the freon kits they sell at Wally-World and elsewhere to add freon do any good? There is a site glass near the front of the engine, should I see bubbles or not? Thanks Jim.

I have a 5030 HSTC and see no bubbles in the sight glass. The manual says that either there is too much coolant or it is out... that there should be a few bubbles going by. My AC works but is weak, have not had a chance to take to the dealer for evaluation. I plan to install the bubble insulation as discussed in the thread above. I jump in and out of the tractor often, thus loosing all cooler air frequently, so it could by my useage habits that make it seem weak.

Have you checked the air conditioning belt for proper fit? This has happened to my even with checking the belt on the checkups as noted in the manual.

By fit do you mean tension? If not, could you explain what I should look for. Thanks, Jim (jrepp).

I should have said tension, every time my 4630 does not cool properly that has been the problem except for the other day when I moved the temperature lever instead of the control lever. The heater does work when it is 90 degrees outside.
