Hi Everybody

We have an L35 stuck in 4wd. The lever is still attached to the shift shaft going into the transmission, the shaft is turning but it does not contact anything. We're assuming that the L-shaped shaft is broken inside the case.

Does anyone know if the shift shaft can be changed from the top access of the transmission, or does the tractor need to come apart? We plan on fixing it ourselves, so any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
