kubota L3400

I just bought a Kubota L3400 with fel & 5 ft. brush cutter & r4 tires. The cutter dose not cut quite as wide as the width of the rear wheels. Thinking of going to a 6 ft. cutter. Anybody out there had experience with a 6 ft. cutter on a Kubota L3400. Tractor is about 35 PTO HP.

A lighter duty six foot rotary cutter and a seven foot finish mower both fit the L3400 just fine.

I have used a six foot brush cutter on my 3400 and it did well. I have been through dense brush and small trees and it keeps on going. I just slow down if it is too much at one time.

The L3400 is around 35 gross HP. The PTO HP is 29 and 27.5 if you have the hydro version according to the specs on the Kubota website. IMHO I think you would be better off to use a 5' cutter with this machine.
