Hi everybody,

I'm looking to buy my first tractor. I have about 13.5 acres and plan to do some heavy clean up work.

What are your thoughts on the Kubota L3400? Specifically, I'm wondering if this is a good price:

$20350
L3400-1 HST w/LA463 loader
That includes all freight in, assembly, rear tires loaded.
The loader is equipped with a skid steer style quick attach.

Thanks for your feedback.

Man Prices have really gone up!!!!

When I got my 3400 this time last year I paid $16K for it.. the only difference is I did not get the quick attach...

BUT I am in SC...
Could be a big difference.. and I have heard that the prices have gone up.....

If I were you I'd look at Kioti, they have free loader deals going on right now. Also they have a 4 yr warranty, more loader lift capacity and are a heavier built tractor. I'm working with Wallace tractor right now on a DK40se. So far he has been quick to respond to my questions, and is very reasonably priced. Ships nation wide too! Check it out!

Over $20000 seems a lot for a no frills thirty something HP tractor and loader even if it is a Kubota. Check out the competition at Mahindra and Kioti for starters. The Kioti CK35 for less money would match or top the L3400 in virtually every perfomance specification and adds a lot of features you don't get with the Kubota line until you ante up for the Grand L series. The L3400 is a very well respected machine but unless you are planning to make use of the Kubota advantage in resale value soon, it is not much of a bargain. You may also want to check other Kubota dealers to see if you can get a better price on the L3400 package.

Man that price seems HIGH. I was quoted less than that a year ago. I looked at what I wanted to do with tractor and deceided to go with a bigger more comforatable tractor. easier to set up and adjust. You might consider moving up a model for a little bigger. I bought a Massey 1533 . I also looked at the comparable Kobota and JD. Ease of operation is also a consideration. Good luch

Thanks for the feedback! I've shopped around some more, looked at Kioti, spoke with more Kubota dealers, etc. We found a dealer offering the L3400-1f w/ L463 loader, qck couplers on the bucket and filled rear tires (Citrex) for $18,500. Seems to be a more reasonable price but would appreciate any additional feedback.

Check out the T1520 New Holland. Very strong, reliable unit and NH has been offering some great prices and financing. In March they were offering 0% for 60 months. Dan
