Kubota L2350DT Tach

On my Kubota L2350DT tractor, my tach keeps pegging out. At very low RPM, the tach seems to be correct, but as soon as I increase speed to run the backhoe, the tach pegs out. Does anyone have an idea what the problem is and a repair?

On some of those models dont know which ones the issue was the the tach cable was binding against the fuel tank createing excessive load and friction to the tach bearing . Seems like part of the solution was like an aftermarket dash panel to reposition tach . Might try traceing your tach cable and see if its severely rubbing against fuel tank for starters .
