Kubota L2250 wont steer...

The bevel gears need to be replaced, so I tried, the bevel gear case will not come off [break free from the main housing]. I've tried for several days to find a service manual for this tractor ##$@%%# I've never had so much trouble finding a manual, from go-carts to Over-the-Road tractors. Does anyone have one. I took the steering shaft/column off [three hours wasted], removed bolts from case and and and nothing. Please help. Hate to replace tractor, so I'll have a manual.

It won't steer, or it doesn't have any power steering? It used to be very common for the coupler between the main hyd. pump and the p/s pump to break. If the p/s pump doesn't turn, no power steering. Why do you think the bevel gears need to be replaced to correct a steering problem? Why did you remove the steering shaft/column if the bevel gears need to be replaced? Have you tried calling a Kubota dealer to get a repair manual? I have almost every manual for Kubota's, up to 2000, so they aren't that tough to get.
