Hello everyone - here are a couple of things I have done to increase storage on my new L-47. 1. - 4" PVC pipe with bottom cap for chain storage (I got this idea from another poster here on TBN). 2. ATV mesh basket for under canopy storage. ( I bought a 13" wide x 37-1/2" wide x 6-1/2" deep ATV mesh basket on Amazon-for $112.00 and mounted it using L brackets and existing bolts on rear of canopy support and heavy duty zip ties for front of basket. I then cut out a portion of front edge of basket and filed any sharp edges and and re-painted to touch up.) So far - have been very happy with my increased storage.

I love that chain in the tubing concept. You did drill drain holes?

OK, I’m going to ask a dumb question because I’m probably missing something. It seems to me the basket is mounted flush to the underside of the roof. How do you get things in and out

I’m making a chain container today! Thx!

I cut out a section on the front side - appx. 10-12" long. If you look at the photo - where it says "Black Widow" - it is just to the left of that.

Because fire department aluminum fiber wrapped 4000 PSI air cylinders have a "lifetime", they are drilled and discarded after a certain number of years. I attached one similar to the way HK did about 10 years ago. I cut the bottom of the cylinder off and removed the stem and mounted it upside down. Works fantastic, drains well and the aluminum does not rust.
