Kubota L 1802

I have a Kubota L 1802 Hydraulic 3 point lift will not lift up . The fluid was almost out . So I fill it up with new Hydr fluid and replaced the canister filter . But lift still will not come up .
Question . Could there be another filter a ( Suction Filter ) that is clogged up . I checked everywhere . Or has my Hydraulic pump gone out ? Or air in the line ?

To TBN Van. This is a great site with lots of knowledge.

You didn't notice anything until it was out of fluid? I guess you didn't check your fluid level before each use as recommended?

There is definitely air in the system now.

There might be a suction screen inside the gearbox. If you follow the inlet line of to pump to the gearbox, the screen should be on the gearbox side. You have to remove the line to pull it out.

Since it ran low on fluid, it might have pulled the gunk that rests on the bottom of the gearbox case and blocked the screen. Therefore it causes problems when the pump tries to prime.
