I lost my Kubota compact tractor key today and need toSTART it move my tractor what are my options.

You can hotwire it pretty easy if you have access behind the key (or can remove the keyswitch)

Easiest way it to just go to the dealer ASAP and get a new key.

That's what I would do, I think they're like $3.

If one of your neighbors has a Kubota, try his key until you get another one. It will probably start it. Just a thought.

Or....this is a long shot.. since the late model keys are all alike, perhaps someone here could scan their key, and post it as a pdf or jpg. with a ruler to scale it by, and you could saw and file one out of sheet steel. Like I said, a long shot, and a lot of work, but, it did come to mind as a possibility.

I went to the boy scout camp and forgot my key at home(2 hour drive). Another small key on my ring started the tractor and I left it run all day.
