Hello:
I'm having problems with the mower deck on my Kubota GR2100. It started with the mower engaging/disengaging while mowing. Since I've had the tractor for 11 years I figured it was just an adjustment. I made the adjustment and the mower engages but it doesn't seem to have the power it used to have. It seems to bog down a bit and I'm seeing a little more grass clumping than usual. It seems that the PTO is just not transferring all of the power to the mower deck. Is it possible this is a result of some clutch wear in the transaxle?
Thanks.

You should post this problem in the Kubota lawn and garden forum for quicker responses. If the engine rpm is normal and the deck speed is slowing down it's either the deck belt or the pto engagement clutch. Most likely the clutch and if you keep running it,it could trash the whole transaxle.Having owned this tractor since new,did you have all the available upgrades done under warranty?-like an improved pto engagement mechanism, the new case with bearings instead of bushings on the rear axles, larger charge pump, etc?

I suspect this is a clutch problem. Doing more research on this now. Where can I look to see what 'under warranty' upgrades were offered by Kubota for the GR2100. I bought his tractor new and have had it back to the dealer a couple of times for repairs and nothing was ever said to me about recommended upgrades available from Kubota.
