Kubota Front Weights

I was at a flea market today and a guy had some Kubota marked front weights. There were two different kinds and I remember that one of them was marked 55 pounds. He was selling them for $10 each, but not knowing what they fit, I passed them up. I know that Kubota gets a lot for weights, but how many different configurations are there? I was with a friend and there was no way that I would have been able to convince him to put about 600 pounds into his new car.

Great Woods? I saw a guy there that had 4 Kubota 55 pound suitcase weights and one 30 pound Kubota slab weight. He told me $100 for the lot. This was early in the day about 7AM.

I saw some Kubota weights go at auction not long ago like you describe for 23.00 EACH, and they took all he had.

Speaking of weights.... I bought a used grass catcher a month or so ago and was concerned that I may need front weights as a counter balance. As it turned out, the weights are not needed. I was a bit worried because I live on a hillside and I mow a bank that has a 30 degree + slope. When the bags are full I can feel the front-end starting to get light when I start up on a steep grade; but not to the point where I am losing control.

Speaking of weights I just bought my first tracktor, Kabota B2910 with a 5 ft Landpride rough cut mower, do I need front weights on the tractor.
any suggestions would help.

I don't know about the B2910, but I don't need any weights on the front of my L5030 when I run a Land Pride RCR2672 which is pretty heavy unless I am in the hills.
