Tractor
Kubota 2370-1, FEL, MMM, Box Scraper, 3Ph Snowblower
I'm watching the clock tick by in anticipation of my first tractor delivery tomorrow am. I feel like a kid waiting for Santa.

After lurking for awhile, reading tons, visiting dealers and talking to folks I finally pulled the trigger and signed the dotted line for a new BX2370-1. I bought the tractor with FEL, 54" mmm, rear mount snow blower and a box scraper.

Thanks all for your help and I look forward to many years of happy tractoring!

Congrats on your new equipment. You'll probably need it by tomorrow if this snow continues your way. We've got about 8-9" right now. supposed to continue all night through tomorrow till about 7PM. Expecting another 8-9" tonight and 5-7" Monday. I know what I'll be doing tomorrow.

If you have any kind of acreage at all they are indispensable. You probably have thought of 25 things you are going to do with it. Once you see how useful it is you will add 73 more to the list.

Congratulations and welcome to TBN. Go easy with the new tractor and read your owners manual.

It took me a whole 24 seconds to break something once the delivery man left after his familiarization!

I folded the ROPS down to put it in my garage. I then lifted the 3PH with the snow blower attached. The lift pushed the arm for the snow shoot directional control into the folded ROPS and bent it until it cracked the handle. No biggie, I just sawed off the broken part and re-inserted a now shortened handle onto the shaft. Bad design in my opinion. I imagine many people fold the ROPS to get in/out of a garage and one must remember, at least with a snow blower attached, that when you lift the 3PH the handle will smash into the folded ROPS.

At least the first mark is done so I no longer will have the anxiety of breaking something!

I also came danger close to hitting my deck while turning in the yard with the snow blower on it. Word to other new users....the stuff hanging off the 3PH really swings wide. It does not track within the tight turning radius of the machine.

All in all...I am very happy!

**** man - you are dangerous. maybe you should have let the rops at 3 o'clock and not all the way down. when you are new to a piece of machinery you have to watch everything that you do to see what each thing does and where it all ends up.

diligence!!!!! until you feel more at one with it. and even then...........................................

I folded the ROPS to the 5 o'clock position that they have pin holes for. They should make a pin position at 3 but they didn't so they must want it at 5

Where in Mass are you guys and where did you end up purchasing your tractors? I am in the process of selling my B1550 and going with either a new BX25D or a B2601. Barlows has quoted me the best price by far so far, so I might be going with them.

Thanks, Anthony
