Kubota engine oil

Where does Kubota oil come from? Do the have their own refinery or blending plant?
Will Kubota oil work in a Kioti ?
Rotella 15/40 works great in this climate.
It's the most common oil used in the fishing boats here and they do get run hard.

That is just my point. I don't buy Honda oil for my motorcycle, nor Kubota oil for my tractor. All that is just a ripoff by the company and dealers. No motor manufacturer has their own refinery and their bottled oil is coming from the cheapest place that produces a quality oil to meet their API specs. I buy my oils from a respectable branded refinery (like Shell Rotella T6) . That way I know who made it and don't have to go searching the internet to maybe find out who makes what for who which could change from year to year.

Why would you ever want to use Rotella/Delvac/Delo CJ type oils in a gasoline engined truck, tractor or motorcycle, etc? They probably contain additives that do no good in the gas engine and always seem to carry a lower API rating (SM vs SN for sludge and deposits) than the CJ diesel oils. I try to stick with regular Mobil 1 or else dino oils in the gas engines.

Those oils actually contain additives (think zinc) that are better for old school solid lifter flat tappet gas engine valve trains than modern S rated only oils.
