Just a tip for replacing connections like that with something standard.
Almost all auto supply stores carry short extension cables for two wire and four wire trailer connections with male and female plugs. It's really easy to buy one of those cables and splice the standard trailer plugs into a wiring harness to replace the oddball connectors.
