Am I the only dummy that didn't know that if you leave the ignition key on while filling the fuel tank on a Grand L, it will starting beeping when you are 3/4's full, and change to a continuous beep when the tank reaches the full mark?:cool2:

Anybody else have some Kubota easter eggs?

Wow, that is nice, I overflow my L45 all the time because the fill nozzle is at such an angle that once you see fuel, you immediately see fuel running out.

I had seen it in the owner's manual for my previous L3240 and my present L45 also does it.

Duh--I had no idea either. I wonder how many models this covers.

I didn't know it either. I also read owners manual, but missed that feature. Today I fueled my L4740 with the key on, sure enough it beeped as posted. Thanks for the information.

I am pretty good about reading my owners manuals but missed this.

I don't think it is mentioned in the manual for the L45 but I do remember reading about it in the manual for the L3240.I figured the L45 would do it because it shares a lot of features with the Grand L's so I tried it to see.

I did not know that. I will need to try it on the L4060 next fueling. Or I could read the manual some time

Will have to try this on the L45, you are correct that neck makes it hard to see fuel level.

I read the manual when I purchased the tractor but missed this one. I was looking for the front axle lube capacity when I stumbled on to it. No more standing on the tire looking into the tank while filling

I suspect everyone but me has figured this out, but in the past I have removed the front a/c condenser screen when mowing high grass, and used a whisk broom to clean it. It wasn't until my last oil change that I realized if you remove the right side engine access panel there is second removable screen that totally covers the radiator. Now I clean both of them when I see engine temp starting to rise.
