Kubota didn\'t upgrade BX23 engine:

I'm curious on why Kubota didn't upgrade the BX23 engine. I see that it remains with the same D905-E-BX engine that was in the older BX22 (and the BX2200). The new engine for the BX2230 is D902-E-BX but the BX23 stayed with the 905. Is it because of of the block heater?

Someone reported that the BX23 will have the 902 engine later in the season...for whatever reason. Maybe simply because there were a number of the 905s in the BX23 pipe line?

Personally, I am glad I have the 905 engine in my BX2200. I may be from the old school, but anytime something physically smaller is substituted for something larger, and said to do the same job, I sort of wonder.

Then again, I still like metal over plastic...so what do I know. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
