Loader Kubota BX23S loader raises extremely slow sometimes not at all

I've seen some past posts about similar problems, but still not sure what the problem is on my tractor.

The loader raises extremely slow and sometimes won't at all. To curl the bucket it seems okay until I put resistance on it and try to pick up a load of snow. Even at high RPMs it doesn't move any faster. I've checked all hydraulic connections and nothing is loose or incorrectly attached. Hydraulic fluid is full. Everything is greased. Still no change. The backhoe seems to work fine.

Any thoughts?? I hate to go back to the dealer with it, but I'm at a loss at this point. I'm not a mechanic and I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn Express recently. So............

First thing I would do, is disconnect and reattach them all. Did you just shake the connection to check them?

My 7060 did this at the start of year 4 with 285 hours on it. It was a bad hydraulic pump. It was out of warranty but the dealer got Kubota to cover the part cost (about $1500 if I remember correctly) but it still cost me $750 in labor.

Disconnected, reattached, and re-checked to make sure they weren't loose. Tightened every connect I could find with a wrench. I was hoping one of the would be loose, but no such luck.

Try centering the three point lever. Do you have a hydraulic filter screen?

After I researched it, Yes, there is a hydraulic filter screen. I would assume I would need to empty all the hydraulic fluid before I pull the screen??

YES... but if the backhoe works its get hyd oil from the same pump, SO something else is wrong

Did you check the control valve that is in the center kind of under the seat?
My foot would bump that and turn it on my B7610.

I'm going to check the control valve in the morning. I saw that on a video just a little while ago.

Control valve was good. I neglected to say that I have a Kubota 3rd function valve. Now I am wondering if there is something going on with that valve. I'm going to need to pull the joystick and cover off to take a look under there to see if anything is loose. Used the tractor today and everything runs great except for the loader lift and curl. Backhoe and outriggers work fine and fast. Trying to rule out everything I can before I drain the hydraulic fluid $.

Does it have that 4 line connector for the hyd lines on the loader take it off clean it ,make sure its locked down correct ...

Yes. It has the 4 line connector. Removed it a couple of times wiped off.

Any chance they used Teflon tape on the threads?? (grasping at straws, now....)

Switch coupler around. For example switch the curl connects to the loader lift arms and see what happens.

I've been grasping at straws for weeks! LOL I'll see if I can switch the coupler around.

Does the 3rd function valve work ?

3rd function valve does work, but even the grapple moves very slow.

Switching the quick connects around should confirm it is not the cylinders or the hoses leading to them, it will also take the third function out of the equation.

Well, no go on everything I've tried. Sent an email to the dealer to see if they can pick it up Stay tuned.....................
